Other sites identify the Commandos 3 protection as Securom NEW (SecuRom - 4.85.07.0056 ) on DISK 3 ?
They also used one of their own (CD-Lock) earlier in the series.

The logical answer is that it is a protection that Clony doesn't know, but makes a half-guess at.

look guys
in the cd there is the file(that's *.txt) which called cdgroot.txt
so when you open it with wordpad it said:

don't modify this file it concerned with the cd-protection
so what does that mean?

i also study about cactus but i see nothing similar between the cactus 100,200,300 with this protection except the tracks.(data and the audios)
