Burning to SVCD

Howdy,

I have ripped a DVD using VCDGalaxy. My problem is, when I attempt to burn the MPEG-2 file to cd using Nero 5.5.9.4, I get an error informing MPEG-2 instead of MPEG-1 -invalid video stream : 25 frames/second.

I have downloaded the MPEG-2 plug already.

Prior to nero buring the movie, it converts it to VCD losing quality.

Can some please tell me what I am doing wrong and a programme that will burn from MPEG2 file to SVCD via cd burner.

Welcome to the forum. You "I attempt to burn the MPEG-2 file" then you say "an error informing MPEG-2 instead of MPEG-1" You cant burn an MPEG-2 files directly as an MPEG-1, they are very different formats.

Burn the MPEG-2 files as a SVCD, not a VCD. But Nero is not the best for making nor burning SVCD's. Use VCDEasy instead.
