Burning on the fly using 2 usb2 devices

Is it possible,I have an extrnal pioneer 107d and an external toshiba 1612
and burning on the fly seems impossible,
I could make both or either of them firewire ,would this make a difference
or could
I change some windows settings or nero settings that would make
it possible

firstly DONT USE NERO for fly copies use alcohol 120% or DISKJUGGLER nero tends to be not that good at any sort of copies at the best of times :(

secondly give us details of your system setup memory etc !? so we can give more information and advice how to :)

Firewire= much less CPU strain.
Even with USB2 it should be possible, just have a large stock of blanks and several bottles of beer handy! :D

I'm using an acer laptop celeron 2.8 & 256mb pc2700 ram,
I also tried it on a pc with an athlon xp2000 and 512 mb pc2700 ram
both start writing the lead in then when burning starts I get an error
and burning stops.
I've also tried using the new nti cd,dvd maker that came with the laptop
same thing happens
I have tried alchol 120% in the past along with a lot of other burning
software but always end up going back to nero (unlike other users I have never had a problem with nero and cant fault it)
My aspi layer is up to date 4.60(as far as I know the best version)

Ive read that firewire puts less strain on the processor and although slower
in theory it allows a constant stream of data whereas usb2 transfers data in bursts which is why I was thinking of maybe mixing the 2 but I need to get
a firewire card first to try it

The reason I asked bout windows settings is I remember my first 24x cdwriter,
which I had to alter windows virtual settings (win98) to get it to burn at 24x

Thanx Viper
got it sorted just used discjuggler and managed on the fly at 4x :) ,wouldnt
try any faster as buffer was going nuts  ,
I did a fair bit of reading on other forums and most people have trouble
just making and burning an image using anything from alcohol to nero which is why I just tried discjuggler
so really burning on the fly seems to be quite an achievment
