kt4v mainboard..384mb ddr ram..1.3ghz processor...64 mb graphics msi dr4-0a dvd re-writer...lg dvd rom

the problem
movie is fine when ripped by dvd decrypter and after shrinking.. when burnt movie skips pauses near the middle and end everything else is excellent quality ....ive read cheap dvd-r's could be the problem

yeah could well be the case what speed are you burning at as this could also be a factor !?

Hi,
I started burning and ripping about 8 months ago, I to had the same problems you are having. It is the disks you are using. I now use and only use DATASAFE 4Xspeed media. I have had no coasters out of over 100 discs. These discs are not that expensive. Always use discs with the RITEK GO4 dye...you can`t go wrong.
