burning films ont dvd/r

:confused: HI ANYONE,
I CURRENTLY USE NERO VERSION 6 TO BURN ONTO DVD/RW.WHEN I BURN ANYTHING ONTO DISC IT WONT PLAY ON DVD PLAYER BUT WILL PLAY BACK ON COMPUTER.MY DVD PLAYER IS COMPATIBLE WITH ANYTHING.I BOUGHT DVD R/W DISCS PACK OF 25 BUT HAVE WASTED MOST OF THEM.THE DISCS I BOUGHT ARE ONLY 2 SPEED AND I KNOW YOU GET 4 SPEED WOULD THIS MAKE A DIFFERENCE.PLEASE HELP I AM SO FRUSTRATED

Hey nell1404, Your burning speed will have nothing to do with the playback. Increasing the burn speed might only give you errors on the disc. Whats the brand and model # of your dvd player?

I have not had this problem. However I am using DVD+RW 4 speed. Now it might be the DVD player if it is an older unit. My DVD will play CD and CDRW and MP3. So do check to see it it will read a DVD+RW. You might try
a DVD+R burn one time and see. Now have you tried to play on someone else's DVD. I can play mine on any of the new DVD players so you might try that.
Also keep in mind no need to wate them. Erase and use over! They modtly could for a 1,0000 burns....does the trancoding complete and say the biunr was fine. Nero is a crank.

Since you bought R/W's, then nothing is wasted, just reformat them and use them again.

How did you make the files your trying to burn with Nero ? Are they in a VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD R/W when they were burnt ? What burning option did you select in Nero, Video-DVD or UDF or UDF/ISO or what ?
