Burning DVD

Okay, I am definitely a newbie to dvd.So be nice..
Here goes, I have just installed a Sony DRU500A and I want to burn dvd's from movies(divx,etc,) which I have d/l to my hard drive.
So, I need to knwo exactly what to use and what to do

I would appreciate any and all suggestions(that work)

Use smartripper to rip DVD VIDEO_TS folder. Than burn it with Nero, VCD CD/DVD, primoDVD with DVD-R/RW,DVD+R/RW. Other's you can used DVD2one, DVD2plus, DVDXcopy, DVD2dvd etc...

I am in the same situation as you and found a great deal of info at several web sites which provide how to's and also feature feedback from many experienced dvd human burners
