Burning DVD soundtracks to Audio CDs

I have a few concerts on DVD that I would like to rip the audio from and burn to CDs for use in my car. I currently use DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink & Nero for backing up my DVDs. Do I need any additional software to convert the soundtrack to a .wav file, and if so what do you guys recommend? Thanks for your input.

Looks like an excellent tool slippery, but my budget has just enough room for a FREE program:) I tried dvd2avidg, but I can`t get the program to save the audio as a .wav file. It only saves it as an ac3. Thanks for your feedback!

#1 dvd audio ripper problems

I read this thread and decided to buy #1 dvd audio ripper. I started to rip a dvd (Hell Freezes over) but all I got was one big mp3-file containing all the tracks. I also couldn't get the tracknames right before ripping, as I kinda messed up the logic #1 uses. The helpfile didn't help me either. In this forum most people are content with #1 dvd audio ripper or with dvd ausio ripper (why don't they change the names to make a better disticntion?).
What do I do wrong?

Why to pay if you can do this nicely and for free? check this excelent guides:

Audio-Only DVD Ripping Guide
How to Convert DVD Video to MP3 or Audio CD Format
Brendan Kidwell
http://www.glump.net/content/audio_dvd_rip/guide.htm

AC3 to MP3 using BeSweet
http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/ac3tomp3.htm

and if you don't have an audio editor you can get 'Audacity' for free

actually a simple google search will bring lots of more ways to do this, I pretty much follow Brendan Kidwell's Audio-Only DVD Ripping Guide

Couse you got a already ac3,now simply convert to wave and youll have a one big track...Start any audioeditor(any will work) and simply make a tracks(songs). If you cant find a good editor free,or dont have a one allready, find a audacity link and download it.Imo its a crap(maybe is not but i simply dont like it)but it will certainly do the job... :)
Therefore open that big wave and cut the pieces you like...and that should be it :)

Most audio DVD's have each song per Chapter, but not all. When you load the DVD into Audio Ripper, it should come up with a list of all the chapter and you need to tick them all (they are by default). If it does not and jusat has the movie oly ticked then there are no chapters and you got all that the program is capable of extraction. I've used it a few times and its always ripped each song per chapter correctly.
