Burning 3 consecutive .AVI files to DVD

Hi all, I'm very new at this, so feel free to laugh at me if you want. I am trying to create 1 continuous DVD from 3 .avi files, and I'm not sure if I am doing it correctly. I've yet to burn it successfully.

I am using P4 1.4 Windows ME, 640mb RAM, 90GB HD, Nero 6, NEC DVD+RW.

So far, I have used cucusoft to split the .avi, and ifo edit to create the .vob, .bup, and .iso and place them in the VIDEO_TS folder on my HD.

My question is, do I need to burn the converted .avi files one at a time onto the DVD+RW, or should I convert all 3 to my VIDEO_TS folder and burn them as a single group?

If they are meant to be burned as a single group,do I need to rename the individual .vob, etc...so that they are sequential?

Sorry for the long post...just wanted to give the best info I could. Thanks in advance for your assistance!!

Couple of things, piss off Cucusoft, its quality output as absolute crap. Just follow the tutorial here http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=25572 but in Step3 Point 11, set the CD size to 1/3 of 4440 = 1480. This is assuming each AVI is the same length in time. Then in the Commections tab of Maestro, link the Traget of the last chapter of Movie1 to the start of Movie2, and end of Movie2 to start of Movie3. Compile and burn but Nero6 is not a good DVDR burner, to many problems, 5.5.10.x is much better.

Thanks Chickenman...I agree, I'm not happy w/ the quality of the converted .avi files w/ cucusoft. I'll give your tutorial a try!
