Burned Data DVD's unreadable

I just hope someone can help me with this problem...
I did a search on the forums but came up empty.

I have a Richo RW8160(Combo DVD/DVDRW) with newest FW upgrade and I am using Nero 5.5.10.56.
Computer specs is :
2.8Ghz Hyper Threading
512 Mb RAM
WinXP Pro

Now the whole process works like a charm, but when you insert the burned dvd back into the drive, it just hangs the explorer if you try to view the contents or it says that no cd is inserted.

Anyone know a solution to this? I have allready tried two dvds, different ways of burning them, but same result. The media isn't perhaps the best, but semi-ok atleast..

Aye, true, but I did a file verification on the dvd and it didn't verify a single file on the dvd. Even weirder is that my friend has an _exact_ same machine. Hardware as well as software, but he has no problems. Only difference is he is using Nero 6. I am wondering if that could be the issue..

My nero version is a bundle version as well, tho it should be a full version (looks like it anyway)

But I will try some other media first and see.
