Burn AVI to a DVD+R without re-encoding ?

Hello ppl :)

Is it possible to burn Burn AVI to a DVD+R without re-encoding like the one I saw VCD to DVD-R? I wanted put my avi amine series on dvd to watch on dvd player. I have saw chickenmans DivX's to DVD±R, 1 episode will take me hours to encode :( can't image encoding the whole series of it....

There are a few DVD Players that can playback DivX avi's, thats the only way your going to play them on a DVD Player without re-encoding then.

Converting them to DVDR is quicker than converting them to VCD or SVCD. Maybe its time to upgrade the PC also.
