Burn At Once ~ error?

Hello all, (I hope this is the right forum for this)
I installed the BAO software I downloaded (on the good advice from "those who know more than I" ) on this site and received this error message right after starting up the program for the first time and checking the "I am using this for personal use etc" radio button:

Error 5: Invalid procedure call or argument
Error occurred in: frmMain:Form_Resize
App Version: 0.99.5 Windows Version: 5.1.2600

Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone tell me what it means? (if anyone knows)
Seems I won't be able to use this software...(I've been trying to follow the Easy tutorial on backing up DVD's)

Will probably get better attention in the Burnatonce forum, moving there.

0.99.5 seems to be getting a mixed reception, but this doesn't seem to be a reported bug. What other CD-R software do you have installed, although it doesn't really look like that sort of conflict.

Hi, sorry - I should have searched for a BAO forum! I have the Ulead stuff that came with the Pioneer A07 installed:
Burn.Now, EasyBurner, DVDFactory, VideoStudio DVD etc, as well as Mediachance's DVD lab. I'm a complete noob with DVD burning, I am starting to realise just how much there is to learn! Do you think I should only have one burning tool and authoring package (such as DVD lab) on the computer at any one time?

A search there found some similar errors, but not the exact same one.

If it's something to do with a window (form) resize, I wonder if it could be a graphics driver issue, though I wouldn't expect it to place any unusual demands in that area.

Do you have the latest Visual Basic Runtime?
VBRUN60SP5 is mentioned (and available from the BAO site) - and I would assume is the minimum.
I would expect VBRUN60 SP6 to be acceptable as well, and later versions of other applications may demand it
