Buring DVD 9 movies

I have read the tutorial.

http://www.dvdrbase.com//showthread.php?t=31155

Some questions I have (possibly stupid questions, but I'm learning) are:

1. It would appear that only the movie is being copied and none of the speial features, menues etc being copied. Is that correct?

2. The Tutorial advises to select the movie and drag to the left hand side pane. What about the relevant AC3, or other sound file? Does the relevant sound file also need to be copied?

3. In order to fit a DVD 9 onto a DVDR 5 is it possible to perform a maximum shrink (which won't be enough to fit onto a DVDR 5), and then shrink the previously shrunk files further (using DVD Shrink)?

1) yes, if you follow the tutorial's instructions, you'll end up with a main move-only dvd. you can use dvdshrink the regular way (ie: without using reauthor) and just compress everything.

2) assets on the left hand side will have their audio streams listed on the right hand side on the "compression settings" tab for the latest versions of dvdshrink.

3) what's a "maximum shrink"? without fully understanding what you mean by that, i'm guessing you want to do a full disc backup, in which case you just don't enter reauthor mode and adjust everything's compression and audio settings in the regular mode.
