hi mate...

I´m pretty sure that it would work ...but try it first with a RW disc.

btw.a multi boot DVD would be more interesting ;)

I prefer using 2002 drive image, which my pioneer 104 writer works perfect . Using dvd rewritable disk and image fully compressed.
Only problem is 1Gb takes about 1 hour to replace image from
dvd. But you can always copy and paste if you can access a suitable partition hard drive.

Wow! I do not (yet;)) have a DVD writer but a bootable Windows-DVD would be really handy.

One could store Windows + Office + drivers + tools + Norton Systemworks Pro + Firewalls just on one CD instead of using several CDs.:)

Think I need a DVD writer.:D

I image creating a bootable DVD is rather easy. Just use the settings needed for the creation of a bootable Windows CD and copy them 1:1 to the process of creting this bootable DVD.:)
That should work flawlessly.

Success!!!

well great news! as i have made my bootable DVD disc with window xp and office xp and every other program i possibly need all on one DVD
i used the boot.bin file from the windows xp which is available on the net to create winxp cd and just used the same tutorial for it but selected DVD bootable instead of CDrom Bootable from Nero menu and it works flawlessly
so if anyone else want to do this it is Possible and its Great!!!!!!!

hmmm... have to think about how that compares with 18gigs of install files, isos, keys and serials on my server ready to rumble. only bad thing about that disc... it's static and becomes dated...
