Boot problem after installing xpsp1

HI!
Today I made ma major blunder!
Thinkin I was smart I used TweakXP, Inserted a new registration number to my computer from my portable OEM XP installation.
Then I went to install this new update patch from MS, and this time it didnt stop anywhere cause of faulty registration number/key.
But, when I know rebbots after the installation, all I get is a message saying windows has a problem form accurately checking the license for this computer. No matter booting or whatever I cannot get further.
I need my computer! Desperatly!

Can anyone help me, point to the right direction, tell me what to do?
I can access all drives throgh my internal network, so if fixing a file, editing a file etc would do it,I have access....

Please help me.

i dint think there was an fdisk in XP

i know what fdisk is but whats mbr?

fixmbr in xp

in winxp for fixing mbr u must boot with xp cd and
after intering in recovery console type fixmbr for fixing mbr
and fixboot (like sys command in dos and win98) for fixing boot problem

Why did it happen in the first place?

Have you tried running the repair facility of xp, not recovery console.
I run repair only last week, works a treat.
