Booktype

Just downloaded a new nero6.6.06 or whatever is version couse before that one had a big bug regarding directshow thing-everything was crashed until luckily gspot reported that some nero filter is bad-anyway i now see the option to change a booktype-what i should set for burning dvd video and what when i byrn data-should i leave on automatic or set manyally..
and what to set-which one for what??
thanks-really not sure what to set??

Setting Booktype to DVD-ROM for DVD+R and DVD+R9 (you cannot alter it for -R) assists DVD players that were designed before DVD+R recognition was an issue.
For DVD video use, DVD+R9 (double layer) should ALWAYS be booktyped as DVD-ROM - compatibilty with players is pretty miserable otherwise.

As I understand, it's a "make it work at all" tweak, where needed, and not a "make it work better".

Not sure if it does any harm to set it to DVD-ROM when it's not needed.
