What are u doing when this happens? Need more info.
maybe you have a dll or program being loaded that's causing this.
i had horrible problems with win xp doing the exact same thing and i found my motherboard was not working with my ddr ram correctly. when i clocked down the ddr to normal speed it was fine albeit slower. so i got a new board.

XP is known for having blue screen issues if you have software installed that is not XP approved. I think Microsoft put in some code that checks for MS Certification and causes a crash if it can't find it. Sound to me like you want to check your sartup items and deselect them one by one until you find the one torking the system.
The same thing happened to me when I switched monitors temporarily. Did you change monitors or are you using an old one?
Have you recently physically moved your computer?
maybe to swap a card over?
Reason why is because you could simply have created poor connection as the motherboard flexed as the case was moved, or a card inserted. Many pc stability problems can be fixed by reinserting the cards & memory.
Another possability is that your powersupply could be on the way out. I've heard alot of ppl have troubles after installing a new geforce 4 128mb card. They use alot of power, and can strain a system to breaking point.
You should look for a 300watt powersupply that is AMD/Intel approved.
Unfortuantly the are a million things that can cause this fault. You'll just have to go through replace/repairing everything one by one until u find the fault.
