Bloody Sony!!

i have a DRU-500A i have the latest firmware2.0g, i also have good quality discs! Rytek, now in my sony the ryteks keep saying could not perform end at once!! error , its allways at the end and some work some dont, now i put a cheapo in my Sony and it works fine, (also the ryteks work fine in my Pioneer A06) sometimes when i put a rytek in it say power calibration error (before it starts writing thank god(then i just use them ones in my pioneer)) does anyone else have a sony and compatability issues with media!!!?? my pioneer never has a errors like this with the same discs as i have errors with in my Sony!!!
i will neveer buy a Sony again thats for sure
do you know what all that crap means?

Sony usually works good on "sonly dvd-rw dvd-r" discs only, it works on others but as you can see not soo good, a friend has sony and he only burns sony dvd-r's , and its all good for him. I dont know thou. Pioneer I have and its the best, its quality.

I have a Sony DRU-500a (2.0c, it works so why upgrade it?) which I really hate- it has made my life boring: No coasters at all up to date, even with Princo media. Sony 1X media are burned at 2X without issues. Safedisk up to 2.8X was no problem, 2.9X+ is a hit-or-miss with this firmware but anyway I don't really use it for doing games on CDR. I am only using the bundled software (RecordNow) and Alcohol, because I know of nothing better than that.
