Blank CD media not recognised.

I have a Pioneer DVD R/RW drive and blank CD Media will not recognise on my PC. My PC plays all CDs fine including DVDs. Any Ideas? VMT Novice

DVDs

This might be far from what you need but someone told me today that there is such a thing as DVD+R and DVD-R so if you use the + one in one that reads - ones only you will have troubles and vica verca.

Sorry if this is not what you needed.
