Just recorded to my harddrive off of satelite with coaxial cable with ati aiw radion 7500,mpg1 file good quality,but in mono.tried to use tmpgenc to make svcd[latest] video is good sound cuts in and out in movie,i think it has something to do with being in mono,any ideas anyone how to fix,or can it be fixed.

I would De-mux the original file to get the mono audio track. Load into WinAmp, set out put to Diskwriter file and save as a Stereo 44.1 16bit WAV file. Then use that as Audio source in TMPGEnc.
