When I first bought my DVD burner I only made 1 coaster, if it was a movie or game using DVD-R's.
Now since I updated my firmware to the 1.6 at the Pioneer site, I've had nothing but trouble.
I bought a tub of 50 Databank dvdr's. And I've made about 20 coasters with them. I'm just using the normal burning programs I normally use, but most of the time they end up being bad burns![Frown :( :(](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
What happens is, alot of the time, it will just keep burning, well you think it does, but it has really stopped. But the burner light is still on. And you can't cancel your burn and you can't close Record Now max.
I can't even eject the disc out. I have to push CTL + ALT + DEL, and close it manually.
This happens 99% of the time when I get a bad burn.
Now I'm not sure if it's the discs or what because I've never tried Databank before.
Now I was wondering has anyone else had any problems with the same model burner and firmware ?
Any help would be much appreciated thanks.
