best way to play your backup games on v.1

i believe i have the v.1 ps2. What's the easiest thing to do in order to play burned games on my ps2? I'm not sure if i'm up to opening the ps2 and soldering all over the thing.

You can check what version your ps2 is by going to the Playstation 2 Version chart. It's the first one in the backup forum.

there really isn't a way to play em. As long as you have a modchip then depending on which one you have you have to follow certain boot instructions.

wow, ur actually the first person that I know that claims you have a v1 ps2. The best modchip would be the Messiah v1.30 or v1.33.
