Best Netscape Version???

What's the best version of Netscape? I upgraded from 6.0 to 6.2 and now my browser works for a few seconds and then closes automatically. Some improvement!!!! I went to Communicator 4.79 to try and get the thing working. I'm running Windows ME

mmmmmm, I would probs say 4 Gold. But it is getting a little outdated. Maybe try an alternative (if you don't like IE) like Opera 6. Works pretty good for me, though some bugs here & there (with java scripts). I guess I should try checking for updates for mine lol

donmal52 - sounds like you were unlucky and got a duffed copy?

I kinda like netscape 6.2, though i some tims use hotjava by Sun which is pretty cool too - written in java - so a little slow when loading

but makes a change from using netscape or IE all the time

They All SUCK I waited 2 hours for 6.0 to download and the damn piece of s*it didn't work worth a s*it it didn't open i gave up and vowed never to use it againbut MSIE kicks @$$ because it is based on Mozilla and MSIE 6 is the best yet.
and thats the bottom line!
