Best Media ??

Hi everyone,

I have jut purchased a version 9 PS2 for the little un, and am getting it modded at the mo, with a messiah pro 2.

Anyway, I have a pioneer 105 dvd-r recorder and have got recordnow max and dvd decrypter (which i use for movies anyway) to help me do my backups. I want to know which media is best to use, I've heard Ritek are better than Princo etc etc, which brands are best, any help will be much appreciated. Also which CDR brands are the best as well.

Hi m8.

I dont use anythything other thank Ritek DVD media for my PS2 back up`s, hardly ever any coasters, for CD media I use Tevion, dont know where you live but i get these from Aldi (UK), seems to be ok, i guess there`s better CD-R media but these work for the occasional ones that I do.

I'm from the north east of england and we have branches of aldi close by so i'll check those out.

Sorry for my ignorance but is Ritek a brand of dvd-r ?

Hi m8.

Ritek i believe do make their own disks, but also the same dye is on some Datasafe. Traxdata, Ridata and others as long as the dye type is Ritek GO4 you shouldnt go wrong.
