Which you think is the best image viewer (for viewer purposes only). If Other, please submit your choice.

if only irfanview and all those other soft can read through zip and rar files, id vote them and dload them. AcdSee4.02 can read zip and rar but the prog is way too heavy and buggy and that stupid Imagefox keeps previewing anything!!!

If only for viewing images Irfanview have everything you'll ever need and is not bloated. For that and a little more, like managing images with thumbs I'll use ThumbsPlus. ACDSee have a zillion things but don't have a simple resize with resampling rutine when you fit your image fullscreen, it distorts images.

i agree this lates version of ACDSEE is bloated and that fox previewer is a pain in the arse, i think im going to change me image viewer so i will be watching this thread closely so i can find the next best out there

Simplest

I use Smart Pix manager. Oher than the changes it can make that are easy, the folder/moving/renaming is a snap.

I'm a Windows Commander fan, so IrfanView is sort of one-way for me (press F3 in WinCmd to fetch the Lister with the image)

I have jsut finished trying out compupic and i must say it is a good program, but for just viewing images its a lil bloated at 17.59 meg,im gonna go back to ACDSEE v3, i liked it and it done its job well without all the bumf that came with the last build.
