best for dvd burning

best dvd burning software

tried newest version of nero and it only runs at 1x when i have a pioneer ao5 4x

got stomp7 record now but im running windows xp so it wont copy anything over a 4gig disk

so whas left??and whats the best just for burning s im not interested in ripping

What firmware revision do u have, got 1.30 and have no problems with Datawrite media burning at 4 x

RecordNow (Max or DX) has no problems at all imaging disks longer than 4GB... it just spans by default images to 2 GB chunks (for the poor 9X/ME users). So I cannot really see what's your problem (besides nero, which IS a problem...). In fact those old prassi apps are the only one which were 100% compatible with XP without any modification, eg Prassi PrimoCD which is a 1997 application and essentially the SAME as RecordNowMax works perfectly with XP SP1 or whatever.
Just use NTFS for your default XP partition, not for RNM but for other application that might need storijng images larger than 4 GB- if you have set it while installing as FAT32 you can convert it to NTFS within five minutes.

Posting twice about the same problem is not a terribly good idea... you'd better avoid it from now on.

iv got the standard 1.30 version,also running red top 4x datawrite!! weird would the discs im copying the film from make any diffrence?? there datasafe 2x that he uses!

scarecrow reason i posted twice was because i wasnt sure what forum topic to put it under!! il make sure i dont do it again anyways :p
