Best File Sharing Program

FTP Rules ! ! !

I would prefer edonkey over kaz or morph p2p wise
though you can always get the latest stuff on iRC channels
as of late - i got more stuff from ftp sites in a week than i would get on iRC in a month. :D

I used to use Bearshare as a Gnutella client - always got reasonable results although the later versions are less reliable and becoming bloatware.

Stopped using it now and prefer trawl the sites for any apps I want. You usually get a better D/L speed than with P2P clients.

Audio Galaxy is very good for MP3's though

Currently, my favorite is my FTP client...
All P2P programs in their current status suck bigtime.
Audiogalaxy being an excheption, but Audiogalaxy is for MP3's only.
true but if you look carefuly in AG's groups you'll find some interesting stuff about downloading full albums (without using a-g-g), you can also find groups that share movies, apppz etc....

btw. I only use AG for music not appz, but I've seen some groups, there are also groups that encode stuff in MP3Pro format.

tip for those who use AG. Since adding song one by one to complete album is pain you can use other methods like w*w.a-g-g.com (sometimes their database is down so it will display failed for all the stuff, just to let you know if you see that something is wrong :p), second is putting words like "Full Albums" "All Tracks" etc...and third one is for complete album in zip file, just write "aaa" or "zzz" and you'll see a lot of zipped albums. :D

btw I use ftp for finding warez

Favorite file sharing app

My favorite ,especially for albums is DirectConnect. You can download from one user so all the songs are the same volume in your album. Plus full movies and appz are there too. Give it a try if you haven't yet. I've downloaded over 200 albums this way. w**.neo-modus.com has the free download and no spyware. Enjoy

I have 56k at home and downloading full albums is not cheap with it :(, but at work firewall is configured so I can't use P2P

don't know. Have tried quite a few.
Xolox was the best, gnucleus was alright, bearshare always was crap (that's right vinnie) and there are a few others I can note, but you would get your best results/replies/news/info from this site (pertaining to p2p apps):
h``p://www.zeropaid.com

Kazza lite still holds spyware but not so much..
DirectConnect I've been told since mi no use it, its best to have an hdd over 30/40G cos you get more access to files on servers. Is dis ture?

Before Direct Connect I had 60GB of hard disk, now I have over 200 and it's about time for another upgrade. It's the ONLY thing I use.

XOLOX is back on the market =), so I would go & use it over any other. Fastest one I've used & is great. Ofcourse if you're looking for something that barely anyone has, you obviously won't have much luck.

Star i'm afraid u wrong about Kazaa lite still having spyware, it has one "dummy" spyware file though, which (from what i understand) it seems to need to start the program or connect to the kazaa network or some sh*t like that.

U right about Direct Connect though, the more u share the more u can get.
