Best DVD software.....which one is it???

Hey guys looking around the forum i see there are lot of programs to make a back up froma dvd,but i also see the "don't use this... because it's not good -- or is crap" so here it is... why you don't post what you think is the best one.... and lets start with i am a newbie in this ... c'mon give me some help here and uhhh !!! i also have a dvd-rw... which so far has turned out not to be an advantage... so can you guys give some hints as far as which is the best back up program for a newbie???

Recordnow Max 4.01

recordnow max is the best i have ever used for writing dvd`s...nothing else comes close,i`ve done hundreds and never had a single problem, the software is easy to use and easy to get hold of,cracks are all over the net for it aswell.give it a try you will be impressed...I WAS..:D

For authoring I prefer DVD Maestro and for writing RecordNow Max. If the disk to be copied is a DVD5 then I just use DVD Decrypter in ISO mode to rip and burn the disk. This seems to be excellent for burning, at least on my system.

alright ...but how about svcd...

remember that i have dvd-rw which it only supports 4.7gb and that is not enought sometimes... how about dvd to svcd ( like dup dvd) but better:rolleyes:

Everyone is limited to 4.7Gb with their DVD writers. DVD5 disks will fit 4.7 disks without problems. For DVD9 try DVD Decrypter and Smartripper to rip just the film. If this is still too large then try IFOEdit to remove extra audio and subtitles. If this is still too large use CCE to re encode at a lower bitrate, then re author with Maestro or Scenarist.
As for SVCD use DVD2SVCD with CCE. All the information you need can be found in the Tutorial sections.
