If you want an "all in one" app, dBPowerAMP is a great freeware tool that can handle most formats with a good list of encoder plugins:

Agree with Oldy...if you want a great "all in one" converter, dBPowerAMP is both excellent and free. I use it all the time for WMA and RA to MP3 conversions
