Look in the hardware discussion forum for advice on best cdrw or use search button.
Best cdrs, well u have got to try afew to see whats best with your burner,Avoid cheap silver tops if your going to trade.
Different people like different types and the most expensive arent always the best.
Its a bit trial and error.

As far as my experience goes, I've used top notch branded name blank CD-R(W)'s and cheapo makes and to be honest I've had no problems with either.
I do tend to stick to the branded name media when I 'need' a good copy but I guess it's a case of give it a try and see what you get, just as daveml said....trial & error

It doesnt matter what color discs for psx, the main thing for psx is that your burner or whatever u use can read sub-channel data.
Use discs to suit your burner, try afew different brands, if u find one that works for you stick with it.
We could go on for hours about this dye and this coating, just find some discs that dont scratch too easily and that work with your burner.
You may get a few coasters experimenting but everybody needs a mat for their coffee cup!
I used to have a ricoh 8x and it hated maxell (8 out of 10 coasters)
It liked memorex,kodak and verbatim.
Doesnt mean yours will!
