Back up (clone?) my PS2 games with CD-RW burner?

One HEAVY question:

Is it possible to backup my Playstation 2 games without a DVD burner- to DVD discs?

I read somewhere about a software emulator which can do so that I can backup (clone) my PS2 games to DVD discs WITHOUT DVD burner – just with CD-RW burner.
Or maybe I’m wrong.
Is it possible or not?

Thank you.

Yes, I read somewhere that it is possible with software like CloneDVD or DVDSuite. There is the chance that I misunderstood something totally.

I show an popup commercial which promote a such software for 39.95$. But as usual, when you desperate need something (you must go to the pub and fix a chick!).

Some of the platstation 2 games are still on cd's but, most of them are now on dvd-roms. The ones on cd can be backed up to cd's. There is no way to backup a ps2 dvd-rom to a dvdr without a dvd burner. The only way is to rip a ps2 dvd-rom game to cd. It can be done but, you need to know which files to rip and theres also some patching involved. Plus you have to make sure you size ends up being 700mb's or under.
