Baby Names!! HELP!!

Help !! .. we have a baby arriving Nov 11th ... we been told it is a BOY !! .. but they could be wrong ... so I asking whether ya nice ppl can suggest names for Boys and Girls ... only seroius names ..otherwise don't bother posting any .. please !!:confused:

Look to your past peoples
and see if there is a link
e.g if your Scots decent look at scots names
my fist name is Lesie after the town in Fife
so look at where you are from and start from there
BTW I have 3 grandchrild's and IMHO there names are quite Scottish :)

maby we could cash in here !? call him CDRSOFT lol erm just kiddin lol my best advice is never choose a name before hand as they do not usually look like that name after they are born !? and thats good advice methinks :)

My new son is to be born in 4 weeks.
At the moment he is known as "baby no name".
I'm sure it will just present itself!

how about " OI" that could be universal .....as in .... "OI " COME HERE and "OI" dont do that " and "OI pack that in right now" :)

the first name for a baby is really important.
being a father of five kids-i know.
it is the only time in the life of the newborn that you give serious thought to their name.
when they get older the names come easily-
you little ####
you so and so.
so many congrats
and good luck with the name

You have to be careful.
What sounds good as a baby may result in them getting a whole lot of s**t in later life!!

So much for this crowd being serious - prob most dont even shave let alone have family.
Best reply from starwolf - look for some thing with significance to you, your wife ( good bonus points here ) or your immediate family

Alexander for boy, call him Xander (zander)
Alisandre for girl, call her Ally

If you can't comprimise with your spouse just add and extra middle name. Both my kids have 2 middle names.
