I have a Lite-On 48x12x48 and I would like to know when, if ever, should I apply the "Applify Weak Sectors" option?

I read that it was not necessary on the latest Lite-On CDRW's, but I am sceptical since I have had problems getting accurate back-ups of "new" Securom games.

aws is for safedisc2 if i remember right and i dont think securom use weak sectors and with liteon ushould not use aws
use a copyprotection scanner like clonyxxl to see what settings to use

Yes,AWS is only for SD2 games,with incompatable writers.It should not be used with the Liteon.;)

Alcohol and Blindwrite are having success with the new Securom versions.
