AVI's come up green!!!!

hi

i downloaded Barber shop AVI, and after i downloaded it and played it, it comes up green and no sound.

I Have the DivX codec installed

Why does this happen?

A few options to look at. What DivX codec do you have installed? If the latest 5.02 then get 3.11 also and install. Get it from _www.doom9.net d/l section.

Also it could be a divx with Xvid codec with AC3 sound. Get Xvid codec from _http://roeder.goe.net/~koepi/xvid.html
