Would any one know why when Capturing on the fly i get less lost frames in window 98 then useing win2k.when i mean lost frames i mean a big difference ,same program the latest Virtueldub ,use the same movie ,only differance is win 98 is first system on my duel boot system useing system Commander, i was trying to capture avi on the fly.

couple of questions for you...

First of all, how fast is your system? Now after we figure this out, let me tell you something else which may or may not be the reason it seems slower under w2k.
Windows 98 uses FAT32 or FAT16 (I hope you have 32), and I assume your w2k has NTFS. If this is the case, and your system is not very fast, it is normal. NTFS uses more resourses than FAT32 and if the system is not very fast, it will be slower. This is normal!
It shouldn't matter which OS is first on your boot manager. That's irelevant.
Also, w2k might have the "restore" option enabled which also eats up resourses. Turn it off if it is running.
