Can anyone help me make a very good avi of movies to turn into svcd ,i can make good avi ,but when converted to svcd is garbage,useing tmpgenc or dvd2svcd , i am running pentium 2 gig 512 ddr aiw radion 7.5 ,im having bad luck with this and end up using mpg format 6.03 mb sec and then transfering to svcd useing TMPGEnc the quality is good but a 2 hr movie is 3 .5 cd's [80 min].

Yes i have read and used all your tutorial's ,to me when it come's to video's , You The Man, i can make real good avi's with my ati but i tried to use dvd2svcd and the output is grainie and colour washed out ,i know i talked to you many times on same issue ,i tried all capture programs still the same thing , what i always hear about is Divx Avi's that are great i tried Virtueldub and proper codec's and Avi's or worse then my Ati Avi's ,I'm stumped and i know there is something im missing or doing ,but cannot get my finger or your finger on it .

There is a site dedicated to capturing and convertiong. I lost all my net links last week, so cant remember it. But I have listed it a few times here in the forum so do a search on capturing, and hope you can find it.
