Im trying to convert avi (divx) to svcd so that i can watch it on my dvd player. Ive repaired all bad frames... extracted the audio in wav format with goldwave and now im using tmpgenc pro to change to svcd... I want to put the movie on two cd's. I select the source range and jump to middle frame in the movie so i can split it up to be on two cd's... at this point the movie is upside down... what do i need to do to fix this... will tmpgenc fix this while it converts... what am i doing wrong... any help would be greatly appreciated... and NO!!... i am not using nero to convert... so that isnt the problem

Could always frameserve with AVISynth, that way if it is still flipped you can just use flipvertical() to correct it or try converting to RGB24 which is probably where the problem lies (YV12 to RGB24).

Do you have TMPGEnc setup to use dshow or are the environmental settings on default? Also when you say DivX what do you mean? SBC, DivX 3 or DivX 5.xx? If it is DivX3 then I would suggest that you don't use divx311alpha for decoding.

I would encode the whole avi as is first then cut it after. If you use DVD2SVCD with TMPGenc, then in the Frameserver Tab just tick the Flip Vertical box if needed and DVD2SVCD will automatically cut it for you as well. Check the Tutorial section for more info.
