AVI TO DVD PROBLEM

hi
can anyone help me please im going mad
i convert fromavi etc so that the films will play on my stand alone dvd player but some of the film keeps freezing, it plays fine on comp
im using nero 6 to burn help cause it doing my head in

I moved your post to the right place so you will get the help you need. You don't say what DVD player you have do you know for a fact it plays back ups? Cause I have 2 players in my home and one will play anything and the other sometimes has a problem with the same disc. Also it could be the media too. It also could be nero. Also what brand media do you use and who makes it?

Playback freezing is normally associated with either crappy media, burning at to high a speed or your dvd player doesnt like the media. Change one of those and see if the same problem occurs.

ok well thats help me a bit my player is a fergusion dvd player, and what u mean by media talk to me in english cause im just a dum blonde lol
have now got movie maker 3 is that any better to burn with pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help me by giving me a idiots guide

Try a program like DVD Identifier and tell us who makes your media. Also you may want to try laz's way to back up dvd's. Also the programs are free.
