AVI to DVD on a CDR

I have AVI files and wanted to convert them to DVD. I use AVI to VCD/SVCD/DVD software. I also have IFOEDIT for DVD Author and Nero 6.0. After decoding the AVI file to DVD using AVI to VCD/SVCD/DVD software, do I still need to do anything to burn it on a CDR and play on a regular DVD player? Please help!!!

Just follow ChickenMan's tutorials on the subject.

You will also need a dvd burner, you can't burn them to cdr
