AVI Subtitles?

I have a film in avi format in 2 halves (cd1 & cd2) and also seperate *idx and *sub files for both cd's. I want to put the film on to 1 dvdr with selectable subtitles. I've been doing it for ages now without subtitles no problem but would like to have a go with selectable subtitles this time only i'm not sure how to go about it. Can anyone offer me some advice? Thanx fellas.

You can use Ifo Edit or DVD Maestro with Maestro SBT.
You allso may need one of these: DVDSupTools, SubCreator, SUBTITLE WORKSHOP.
