AVI Problem

First of all, greets to everyone.
My problem is: I have a AVI and it has subtitles built in, does en1 know how to get rid of them by ripping or whatever.

I assume when you play they just magically appear on screen, whilst the movie is playing ?! if so it may be embedded in the video and you might not be able to do so... have you tried loading it into a movie editor and cropping the screen ?!

if they r permanent subtitles used by vobsub,dont think u can remove them

Thanks guys, I figured it out. It was a script file, so I just deleted everything in it, Whoopeeee, no more subtitles.
