Avi Problem

When i load in a avi into TMPGenc, it doesn't load in the audio - it says "it is unsupported or not recognised". But when i check with Gspot it says the codec is there. Help needed please Chickenman!!!

Have a read of the AVI to VCD Tutorial on how to extract out the audio from the AVI and convert to WAV, then use that wav file as Audio Source in TMPEnc.

It seems strange that i never had to do that before with the same avi's. But i deleted some files, have i deleted the wrong ones by mistake??? Or haven't i put them in the right directory???

You may have, I realy have no idea what your deleted. I suggest you install TMPGenc again then.

Just a guess here but did GSpot say that the audio was AC3? If so I would convert the video only with TMPGEnc and then downmix/convert the AC3 to mp2 wiht BeSweet or HeadAC3e, then just multiplex with the video stream.
