Okay, I have a .avi file inside a .bin, is there any way to burn it onto a cd so that it would play on a dvd player? I can put it into a .iso also but I don't think that would work. I've tried to convert the .avi into vcd / svcd but the program that chickenmans tutorial doesn't work well on my computer, it crashes when I hit certain options. I also tried winmpg and tmpgenc to convert it but it also crashes it in the converting process. Is there any way I can burn the .bin with the .avi file inside it so that a dvd player could play it? Maybe a certain type of cue sheet? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

give us more details of your computer system ..processor ,memory etc etc

tell us what programs you are trying to use and what versions etc and we can help more :)

also post any ERROR logs that you can get from these programs as these often help with diagnosis :)

you could also copy the avi from the disk (if you sucessfully burnt the bin to disk) to your hard drive and check for what codecs are used to make the avi ....seach google for "gspot" no quotes and download the free program and use it to check what codecs the avi is in and post the results here :)

Alright, like I said before, I'm the type of person that does things hands on and learns from his mistakes, and now after several attempts, I did it. I'm left with .bin a .cue and some other files, I saved the .bin and .cue files in a different folder and have them burned and they play great on my DVD player. My last question is if it's okay delete all those other files? Some are pretty big. I'm talking about the bbMPEG_Muxed_File00 and Encoded_audio files and all them.

Thanks for all your help.

If your burnt the movie to dvd/cd and they play fine, then I see no further use of those files. Just delete them if you dont want them for any reason.
