.avi dvd rip audio problem?

Well o dled Wind Talkers off of emule. When i go to play it i get an error in Media Player and so i went to WinDVD. This plays the file, however the is no audio. So what gives?

well whatever GSpot it I found the file specs they are

Specs:

Size: 1.36GB (697.82MB + 697.95MB)
Length: 134 Minutes
Video: XviD
AVG Bitrate: 1284 kb/s
Resolution: 624 x 256
Framerate: 23.976 FPS
Audio: AC3 192 kb/s

Well I got the codec, but I all rdy had Nimo 8. So I got the codec from that. I don't think it really matters where you get it from. Dose it? Well I don't know. Anyway I'm curious is to why WMP won't play the file even after I installed the codec? Also I found that GSpot it a great prog to keep handy. Full Decriptions of what codec it has and if you have it or not. Really nice :)

Nimo pack is better known for the systems it screws up than for ones it helps. Uninstall and get the AC3 from doom9.

If you use AVI's then GSpot is an essential utitilty to have.
