AVI Audio Probs

I'm trying to convert a DIVX to SVCD using TMPGenc and Chickenmans guide. I've read the bit about the audio but when I've looked at the file audio in VirtualDub it says the audio is "Unknown (tag0161)". What type of audio compression is this?

I've since found out it is WMAudio V2!?!?

What do I do with this?

Yep, DivX ;-) audio aka WMA V2.

Once you have the correct ACM codec installed, it should convert fine without doing anything.

But when I select which video file to use in TMPGenc it doesn't auto select the audio file. I've tried to paste it over but it doesn't recognise the audio file. What is the ACM codec and where do I get it from?

I have that same problem...

So I decided to use NERO VISION EXPRESS 2.1.0.4 Excellent.....
Does it all from VCD - DVD...

From what I've read though Nero isn't meant to be that good or is that Vision Express something else?
Does this include the ACM codec?

Nero/NVE doesn't need it. Nero v6.x decodes via directshow, so I guess it can make use of the wma dmo decoder or whatever.

The DivX audio ACM decoder/encoder comes with DivX311alpha or you can probably find it as a standalone install or part of various (EVIL) codec packs.
