Hello all

hope someone can help

i have 1 x ogm file (which i have renamed to avi) and 1 x str file which are the subtitles

i need to combine either the .ogm file with the .str file ot the avi file with the str file this needs to be a perm combine as i need to run trough tmpgenc to covert it to dvd with the subtitles.

hope this makes sense all/any help greatfully received.

You can convert the video file to mpeg2 and the str to sup and with ifo edit author and finaly burn to dvd.
Or you can convert video and str together (permanent subtitles).

Think you mean srt. If you open the file in TMPGEnc via Dshow and have VSFilter installed then it should come up with the subs ready for encoding.

Could also convert the ogm to AVI, frameserve with AVISynth and use VSFilter's textsub plugin.

As said though with DVD it is possible to have removable subtitle streams.
