auto run problems

does anyone know how to fix this?when i put a game disk or film or any other disk they dont auto run.i have heard that there is something in the registry you can change.

TWEAK UI or TWEAK xp has this option and so do many many burning programs example would be clone cd auto play data cds and auto play audio cds

or a non permanent option is to hold the "shift key" down when closing the cd draw this will prevent the auto run of the disk for any disks but you do have to do this for every disk

when i insert a game disk it would show the contents of the disk.data and films it would ask what i wanted to do.blanks it would ask if i want to create a disk or explore the disk.

doh i read the darn question backward lol u wanted to MAKE IT auto run and not make it NOT lol oh well cant answer them all right can i lol !?

note to any downloaders that try unzipping with winzip ..it needs to be unrarred winzip just kept saying it was invalid ?!

unrarring the file it works fine

run regedit go to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom]
"Autorun"=dword:00000000

enable autorun, change value "autorun" to 1
disable autorun, change value "autorun" to 0

reboot after change
