Audio out of sync

Being conncected by modem my main source of video is capturing from my ATI all-in-wonder card. I use the ATI multimedia packet that came with my card. The video captures fine, but whenever i try to edit it with TMPGEnc2.52, like shaving off a few minutes from the beginning and end, the audio is no longer matched up with the video. I've De-multiplexed it, then re-multiplexed it, but there is no change in the audio/video. I capture most of my video in the MPEG-2 format. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get the video and audio to match up again. I've used virtual dub for my avi files, and it works fine because it allows you to do it manually. Are there any programs like virtual dub that will let you match up your audio and video manually, but allow you to output the file in the same form (MPEG-2)?

Also, if there are any other's who are familiar w/ capturing video (especially those w/ an all-in-wonder), what have you found to be the settings that yield the best results?

I would suggest you demux the file with TMPGEnc and then re-mux with Wombles MPEG2VCR 3.x as its simple the best re-muxer around, it does it correctly, even better then TMPGEnc. You can also use it to cut/edit your mpg files, just not as easy as TMPGEnc to use though. It has an Audio offset, either + or -, when you re-mux as well to fix any audio sync probs.

Sorry I dont have a link for it at the moment but I'm sure a google search will find it.

Thanks ChickenMan!

Program sounds exactly like what i'm looking for. Haven't tried it out yet, but i'm sure it'll be what i need!
