Audio CD Copy problem - Help Wanted

Hi,
last week i tried to copy a audio CD for a friend
On the CD cover and CD label there is a note saying : Not playable on PC/MAC.
When i put this CD in my DVD drive or in my Rewriter the CD is not recognised or detected. Windows is trying an trying all over bu no resuts.
My DVD drive is a Creative 12x40 and the Rewriter is a AOpen 24x10x40

Is there a cure for this problem so that a can copy this CD just like other, older CD's

Tnx

NO, not knowing...
Both drives acting just like if in the drive is an empty CD
The audio CD is not recognised at alll

The only knowing mark is the text on CD and covers :
Not suitable for playing on PC/MAC

copies fine from
LG 52x cdrom
Delta 52x cdrom
and most
other really cheap 52x cd roms

won't copy from anything expensive

I dd find the file you mentioned en downloaded it but...
It didn't work...
The drives are still searching and trying like hell but they cant
set and show the contents.. In older treads i've seen the comments of carlos1960. He mentioned the same problem
On the track side of the cd you can see a gap between the most tracks (holding the audio files) and a second small track.

I did'nt find the final answer of carlos1960 of this problem ?

I think I already answered this question
YOU NEED A CDROM PLAYER THAT CAN READ THE CD!!!!

cdfs.vxd (from cdfs.zip) will allow you to manipulate
audio tracks as wave files and is very usefil as a tool
to defeat audio cd protection
.......but you have to be able to play
the cd in your cdrom player first.

Your problem appears to be different from Carlos1960. He had an enhanced CD or multi- mode disc (designed for PC's!). Most software has problems with these type of discs; Nero will work.

Your problem appears to be a SafeAudio type protection. cdfreaks.com has a lot of info on this.

As mentioned above the only thing to do is back up your existing file and replace it with the cdfs.vxd file.
