username1: yes i know i like this card.. no problemes yet and i have got it over 1 mounth :) still full hardware support and nice sound no problems at all.. but i hate audigy 1 that one went to zero hardware support after 14 days i think that card have some problems with 3com nettwork cards or something that flasshes the bios of the card or something?!!?

I don't know.

Hello,

I really don't know about the Audigy 1, I never used it. In fact the first creative card I had is the audigy 2, and I'm extremely pleased with it. I never experienced any conflicts with it, and the sound is crystal clear. Best buy.

About the 3com and audigy 1 thing, I think the best way is to ask creative or 3com support.

username1: nah i did ask for support.. never got a real answer just exchange it with a another card they sayd i did it 3 times then i got back to soundblaster live...
so to hell with audigy 1  ... i like audigy 2 much better a very nice card indeed :)

did you try the dvd audio playback?

did you try the dvd audio playback?
I have 5.1 speakers here, it's AMAZING.
their sample disc isn't bad too :)

Listen to the track "superqueen" :)

yes but the point being creative's support with drivers has not been acceptable, I personally am dissapointed with there support for older OS like ME and 98.
I duel boot ME and XP and The original drivers for ME are buggy as hell, they fixed the bugs in XP but.
