But VST plugin loading currently disabled over licencing issues.

Since most free VST plugins seem to be sound DISTORTERS rather than sound IMPROVERS, this may not be such a great loss.

I'll have to read up on Nyquist, and see if if a good click eliminator is possible ....
1. Find trailing edge and work backwards (since few natural/instrument sounds have a sharp cutoff)
2. Look for repeat intervals at 33 1/3 RPM (for radial scratches)
 
No VST plugins= essentially crippled. And yes, you can find a lot freeware+ exhellent VST plugins.
I can't understand why the worries- there are sevral free/opensource sequencers which use VST(i)... unless Pinnacle (unlike Steinberg) considers VST patented.

Indeed! I like this proggie. But with no VST plugs, it's not that interesting to me. Let's hope they get it all worked out or I just back to Steinberg (whose interface it not as intuitive).
 
My list of favourite top hated programs is;
1.....Top place is this piece of garbage called Audacity

6.....Acronis all app====Came recently to list....Going very strong up .......with tendention to even pass Audacity if i try to backup again
7......Easy cd Creator...all versions even
8.......Variaety of all those unneeded applications....so when you check it.....Main features are cd ripping and encoding to mp3-,ogg whatever.......Like its something new unsseen so far??
9......Goldwave Another audio editor which sucks----a bit less the first proggy on my list.,....
10......ws ftp One very ugly ftp client..Never tryed...but ..it is ugly..Period.......
Im just thinking.....Whats your favorite hated ones?????
